North Union United Soccer Club

The 01 Lady Cannons are in search of a girl, currently of U10 age, to serve as their goalie.  NU United provides many opportunities for goalie training from experts in the area, so please let us know if you might be interested in this position.  We play in the premiere division of CPYSL league and participate in 3-4 tournaments per year.  Additionally, we play in an indoor league at Sportszone in Northumberland and have Winter training sessions.  The Cannons and Coach Alan believe that soccer should be played passionately!  For more information and an evaluation, contact Courtney Rosevear at 570-523-6549

 Recently Coach Alan was honored as the US Youth Soccer Region 1 Volunteer of the Year for 2010.  This is an incredible honor for him and we feel blessed to have such a great coach for our team!  Coach Alan was originally selected as the Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer State Award Winner for Volunteer of the Year.  Upon receiving this award, he was then eligible for the National Award for Region 1, which he then won!  He was the original founder of the NU Soccer Club in 1998 while his sons were involved in regional soccer.  He has since served our community with "enthusiasm and passion" (as he can often be heard saying to our girls!)  Alan considers soccer "the World's most beautiful game" and it shows in all he does with the sport.  Thank you Alan for providing us a place to play and have such an amazing time while we are learning this "beautiful game"!
