Undefeated 11-0
The North Union United 99 Stingrays are once again indoor champions after completing a perfect season 11-0. The team faced the Mid West Mustangs for the playoff championship game and won with just 3 seconds remaining on the clock with a goal to go ahead 3-2. Congratulations to the team!
Tournament in Montgomery County
Limerick, PA: The North Union United 99 Stingrays won the Battle at Hilltop Competition this past weekend in the U12 Gold division at West-Mont United Soccer Association's Hilltop Farm just west of Philadelpia. The team posted three wins on Saturday allowing only one goal. The Stingray's final win came against Brandywine United Aftershock, an opponent coming into the match with a number 12 ranking in Pennsylvania East. Sunday matches were canceled due to Hurricane Irene and Champions were determined based on Saturday's results. Congratulations to the team!!
Bring on the Heat!
The North Union United 99 Stingrays won the Lititz Summer Showcase Tournament held July 24 and 25, 2010 in Lititz, PA Summer temperatures soared into the 90s but team enjoyed a victory swim in the Lititz Springs Pool on Saturday after winning two games.
The Stingrays did not give up a goal for the weekend and completed tournament play on Sunday with a win over Coventry soccer from the Delco League.
