North Union United Soccer Club

The Gunners won the Ukrainian National U-14 Championship with a 5-0 win over Dinamo Sport (NYE)  in the final match.  The Gunners remained undefeated throughout the tournament .  In group play, the team had wins against Dinamo Sport (4-3)  and HMMS Vertex (4-1).  The team tied the Sachem Golden Eagles (1-1)  in Sundays early afternoon match. The 95 Gunners defeated YMS Colonials in the EPYSA State Challenge Cup final (2 to 1) to capture the Championship.  Luke Permyashkin scored the first goal to take an early lead.  The Colonials tied the match up off of a header on a corner kick.  Bronson Ferster had the winning goal off of a corner kick by Shayne Riley.

The Gunners had won there semi-final match in penalty kicks.  Daniel Gallagher stopped 2 PKs.  PKs were scored by Steven Pavlov, Max Reed, Bronson Ferster and Daniel Cole.  The match was played in 93 degree heat and the Gunners played with only one substitute.

In group play the Gunners won 4-0,  5-1, and 5-0.(May 2010)

     The NUU 95 Gunners were formed in the May of 2008.  The team played  in the Central Pennsylvania Youth Soccer League during their first season.  The team won the 1 Blue Division.

     The team is composed of players from several schools in the Central Susquehanna Valley.  These schools include Lewisburg, Danville, Selinsgrove, Midwest, and Millville.

     The Gunners have had a great Spring.  On May 15 the Gunners will be playing for the State Cup Championship.  The team will also be playing Memorial Day Weekend in the Ukrainian National Tournament.
