Coach//Manager Responsibilities

All coaches and managers MUST complete the following steps to get registered by June 25th! The sooner you can complete at least some of these the better!

1. Photo Upload *
2. EPYSA Risk Management *
3. Background Check Uploads *
4. Concussion Course (Upload Certificate)
5. SafeSport Training (Upload Certificate)

Please login to the site by using your email and the forgot password link. Go to your Dashboard to begin completing your five tasks.

Here are basic instructions for the items you need to complete (see EPYSA Video Help at bottom of message)

1) Photo Upload (NEW COACHES ONLY)
When logged in click on the Account tab and select Choose File next to the gray photo image.

2) EPYSA Risk Management Form (NEW COACHES ONLY)
Click more Information next to this item and then click the Submit a New Report button to complete the form.

3) Background Checks (NEW COACHES or EXPIRED CLEARNACES ONLY)
You must upload VALID (not expired) background clearances that are required by the state of Pennsylvania. Clearances expire five years from the effective date. You MUST upload three documents to complete the requirement for registration.  Click Submit New Report to upload clearance document.

2. PA State Police Criminal History

You can use clearances that you have obtained for an employer or other organization. I have checked dates on all clearances that I have on file. I will send you a separate email if your clearances are expired.

4) Concussion Training
For now you need to go to the CDC to complete this training. Please remember to save the certificate in a file for future upload. Click Submit New Report to upload certificate.

5) Safe Sport
Anyone who took the course last year will be eligible for a shorter refresher course as long as you use the same email that your originally used with SafeSport. Email safesport@epysa.org for the free access code.
